The Voyager Life ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application and website at thevoyagerlife.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile photo provided when you sign up via Clerk authentication.
• Trip data: Trip names, destinations, dates, itinerary items, expenses, journal entries, and other travel information you choose to enter.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the app to improve our service.
• Payment information (website only): If you subscribe on thevoyagerlife.com, payment is processed securely through Stripe and we do not store your card details. The iPhone app contains no purchases, subscriptions or upgrades.
• Photos: Images you upload for trip covers or journal entries, stored securely via Cloudflare R2.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve The Voyager Life service
• To send price alert notifications and trip reminders
• To generate AI-powered travel recommendations and itineraries
• To process payments and manage subscriptions for website subscribers
• To respond to support requests

4. AI Features

The Voyager Life uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power the AI Planner and other intelligent features. Your trip data and queries may be processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses. AI features are optional and require your explicit consent in the app before any trip data is sent; you can turn them off at any time in Settings. We do not use your personal data to train AI models. 5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Clerk: Authentication and user management
• Stripe: Payment processing for website subscriptions
• Anthropic: AI features
• Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure
• Supabase/Prisma: Database storage
• Resend: Transactional emails

6. Data Retention

A trip you delete is kept in Recently Deleted for 30 days, so you can restore it, and is then removed for good along with everything in it. You can remove it sooner yourself from Recently Deleted.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, yourself: in the app, open Profile and tap Delete account; on this website, go to Settings and use Delete account. It is permanent and immediate. If you cannot reach either, write to support@thevoyagerlife.com.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Clerk, and encrypted database storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability

9. Children's Privacy

The Voyager Life is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
